Internship Opportunity at Nha Viet Institute – Starting April 2025
Position: Research and Operations Assistant Intern - Unpaid
Location: Hybrid (Boston, MA & Remote)
Duration: 3 months (with potential for extension)
Time Commitment: 20 hours per week
Responsibilities:
K-20 Education Industry and Market Analysis:
Conduct research and analyze trends in the K-20 education industry, with a focus on international student enrollment and engagement.
Utilize data analysis to evaluate the international student market and identify potential growth and collaboration opportunities.
Content Creation and Community Engagement:
Develop and share engaging content about study abroad experiences and New England travel.
Manage social media platforms to build a network connecting international students and parents.
Analyze engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of content and improve outreach strategies.
Support Admissions for Cánh Buồm Vietnamese Language Programs:
Assist in managing student recruitment and enrollment processes.
Maintain and analyze enrollment data to optimize outreach, retention, and engagement.
Use data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and enhance program visibility.
Support Local Community in Language Access and Cultural Projects:
Assist in initiatives to enhance language access services for Vietnamese communities in the Boston area.
Contribute to projects promoting Vietnamese identity and culture through language education, cultural events, and advocacy.
Track and analyze community engagement data to measure impact and refine project strategies.
Support International Students:
Provide assistance to international students with settling into the local community, including helping with cultural integration, language resources, and academic support.
Assist in creating resources and programs that foster connections among international students, making them feel supported and engaged within the academic environment.
Analyze student feedback data to continuously improve services and support mechanisms for international students.
Assist with Business Development, Research and Grant-Funded Projects:
Establish partnerships with universities across New England.
Identify and collaborate with study abroad agencies in Vietnam to expand outreach.
Analyze partnership data to identify trends and strengthen future collaborations.
Support the review and management of grant-funded projects related to education, language access, and training applications.
Assist in data collection, analysis, and reporting to assess project outcomes and inform future initiatives.
Preferred Qualifications:

Proficiency in data analytics to track program performance and inform decision-making.

Strong social media management skills to enhance visibility and community engagement.

Ability to conduct research and analyze trends in higher education and international student mobility.

Experience with grant writing, project review, or data analysis is a plus.

Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Bilingual in Vietnamese and English is a must.
