Research Project: AI Literacy for Educational Leadership: Perceptions of AI Integration in K12 Schools
Abstract: The integration of AI into K12 leadership practices presents emerging opportunities and challenges. This inquiry into AI decision-making and policy formation prioritizes the perceptions of school leaders. We stress the need for adaptive approaches when addressing public conflict and misinformation. It also explores policies relating to AI literacy in learning. By focusing on school leadership experience, this study offers insights into how K12 leaders effectively address issues relating to AI while upholding their ethical responsibility.
This study has been reviewed and approved by the Virginia Tech Institutional Review Board (IRB # IRB-24-609).
